Our Faves: Fireboy’s Apollo Tour Looks

We watched closely as our fave Nigerian superstar Fireboy DML toured stateside, singing his heart out with the crowd and killing it on every stage during his Apollo Tour. One other thing he undeniably had on lock was his style! Each new look was even more fiery than the last, and he had us glued to our phones, waiting to see the next fit. We’ll be highlighting our top picks of his looks from some cities he performed in. Come, take notes..
PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND
Kicking us off with some “DUSTY PEARL SEX”, for his performance at Providence, Rhode Island, Damola A.K.A Fireboy DML dressed up in dark & sultry themed ensemble; a black and white stripe pants and a cool black zipper shirt.
Topping it up with black leather shoes and a black headband, this look definitely gave him a cool neutral vibe while he entertained his fans at Rhode Island with the “FIRE” energy.
NEW YORK CITY
Taking it up a notch, for his first sold-out show in NYC, with comfy Leopard-skin jacket, black pants and crazy black boots to complete the look, Fireboy showed UP!
CLEVELAND, OHIO
In a black oversized sweatshirt with a red smiley on the side and black shiny leather pants and finished off with an extra cool and fashionable black square boots for days ! Not forgetting what now seems like a signature black headband. Fire and xx who styled this look, embodied the drip with full glory!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
Fireboy came in looking like a whole snack with a white net shirt, black pants, white squarehead boots, and a strip leather bag. He completed the look with some silver accessories on his neck and arm, keeping it simple but super classy with his overall black and white Drip.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA
On his arrival to Atlanta, Georgia, Fireboy came out with a pair of leather pants and a white armless tee, paired with a multi-colored jacket and black boots. Our general switched it up with a black beret, shades, m black silk shirt, black silk pants and our favourite item, the black half shoes, really put the entire look together. At this point, it’s clear black is a tour favorite. How he manages to pull off such daring looks and still keep it very simple and clean is a wonder.
HOUSTON, TEXAS
Over in Texas, Fire rocked looks which in my opinion carried his essence. Before his show he casually walked in donning an all-black outfit, a black scarf, a netty shirt and some black silky pants to go with it. Once again, the black half loafer shoes gave us life! For his performance, he traded up for a pop of colours with a blue and yellow denim jacket, white patterned pants, and some classic white sneakers giving pure streetwear energy all the way!
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
In LA, Fireboy took it to the next level when he stepped out for his media rounds in a silver-copper stretch velvet shirt and orange velvet pants, topping it with the ever-consistent beret and black loafers to go with. The man obviously knows his colours and style.
For his final performance, he served us a 90’s Swedish look with his signature all-black theme—black leather jacket with white inscriptions and the black leather skirt and pants that got everyone talking. This look gave us runway fashion vibes! And that’s how you vibe out after a month-long tour.
