Excellence.

The Pirelli Calendar, is  renowned for its avant-garde approach to visual storytelling.

The Italian tyre manufacturing brand has collaborated with Ghanaian artist Prince Gyasi, marking a significant milestone in the calendar’s history.

Dedicated to themes of royalty, glamour, and cultural richness, the 2024 Pirelli Calendar stands out as a testament to the brand’s commitment to pushing artistic boundaries.

Prince Gyasi, is the visionary behind this year’s curation, and he  brings a fresh perspective to the renowned publication.

At the heart of the calendar narrative is Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene of the Ashanti Kingdom. Born on May 6, 1950, and installed as Asantehene on April 26, 1999, he holds a unique distinction in the Pirelli Calendar as the first black monarch ever featured. This collaboration coincides with the celebration of his silver jubilee — 25 years on the throne — and the 50th editorial of the Pirelli Calendar.

The collaboration between Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Prince Gyasi is homage to the beauty of Ghanaian culture.

Through the prominent Ashanti Kingdom, the calendar captures the vibrancy and richness of tradition. The unique aspect of this project is that Prince Gyasi, the grandson of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, takes on the role of the photographer, marking a historic moment as the first black and first African photographer to shoot the Pirelli Calendar.

A star-studded lineup enhances the cultural celebration featured in the calendar. Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage, along with talents like Teyana Taylor, Naomi Campbell, Zendaya, and Idris Elba, adds an international flair to the visual narrative
