Burnaboy – Kilometre (NG)

Grammy award winning superstar, Burnaboy is back on his ever cocky energy, right after his big win. ‘Kilometre‘ is a Chopstix produced dub song balanced by quick beats, typically attributed to Burna’s early style of music, on which he reflects on how far he has come and how he has dealt with doubters and naysayers.

Manifest – Confusion (GH)

This song is a sonic representation of an ‘eargasm‘. Juls brings the Banku music vibe with twangy guitar riffs, synths and mid-tempo drums of Ghanaian highlife, while M.anifest fluently delivers dope verses in both pidgin and English about the confusion that has engulfed the entire system.

Kwesta – Kubo ft. K.O, Focalistic, Bassie – (SA)

South African heavyweight rapper Kwesta releases his highly anticipated album titled ‘g.o.d guluva‘ and on it is this delightful track with a laid back vibe which he calls ‘Kubo’. The synergy between the featured artistes as they flow on the smoothly beat is calm, yet undeniably hefty.

Blaqbonez – Heartbreaker ft. Nasty C (NG)

The build up to Blaq’s album release has been filled with instant hits and high expectations for the album and as always, he did not disappoint. Off the project, he features South Africa’s Nasty C on ‘Heartbreaker‘, a chilled hip hop song on which he raps about a lady who wants to cuff him but he’s perfectly okay with just being intimate with her because she wouldn’t want be with him if he was broke.

Nadia Mukami – Nipe Yote (KY)

Kenya’s self acclaimed African pop star, Nadia Mukami shares this short groovy single titled ‘Nipe Yote‘. The song in its entirety is melodious and Nadia expresses the extent of her vocal prowess while delivering her verses.


Cassper Nyovest – Angisho Guys ft. Lady Du (SA)

Cassper blesses us with this amapiano tune which he tags ‘Angisho guys‘ featuring SA music powerhouse Lady Du. Cassper has constantly proven that he’s a hardworking rapper and he reiterates that on this song with the line ‘I don’t rest’. No doubt that he would deliver an amazing amapiano album as promised.

Kuami Eugene – Dollar On You (GH)

We didn’t come here to play‘, Kuami tells us as the song begins. He tells his muse to put her body on him while he matches the energy with dollarssss! Here for it!

Ajebutter 22 – King of Parole (NG)

Ajebutter finally jumps on the moving amapiano train and his energy on ‘King of Parole‘ is gargantuan. He calls himself the minister of enjoyment and the King of Parole, while rapping about the lavish lifestyle he lives.

King Perryy – Yawa (NG)

King Perryy releases his debut album titled ‘Citizen of The World’ , a fully packed body of work that has gotten the attention of music lovers since its release. Yawa is a personal favourite on the album, on which he confesses his love to his muse, asserting that their love is forever while imploring that she does not break his heart.

Shimza – Kethiwe ft. Darque, Sino Misolo (SA)

The harmonic melody, the fast paced electronic beat and intricately delivered verses all come together beautifully to create this song titled ‘Kethiwe’. It is so nifty that it will have you on your feet in no time.

Laycon – Verified ft. Mayorkun (NG)

Put your lighters up if you know say you go represent‘, Laycon and Mayorkun on ‘Verified’, a smooth song about having a bonafide reputation on the streets, so to speak. Verified is a single on his freshly released album titled ‘Shall we begin‘ and the song is for those who identify as ‘gang’!.

Adekunle Gold – It Is What It Is (NG)

AG Baby does not want to be disturbed, if youre not talking about money. This song is an appropriate mantra to live by, as it reminds you to choose your peace over anything else.
