Psst! New Stuff #18 ft. Buju, Darkovibes, World, A-Q, Jay Bhad, Solis, Alesh and more….

-Lammy
On this week’s episode of Psst! New Stuff, we’ve got beautiful, airy melodies from across the continent. Listen to the sounds from Africa!
Buju is clear, no doubt. He releases his first single for the year —’Outside‘, an airy, self realisation song beautifully delivered on a mid-tempo beat backed by saxophone tunes and guitar strings on which he talks about his mistakes, lessons and growth.
Darkovibes & Runtown – Understanding Love (Extended) (GH)
A classic raggae song backed by bass guitar strings in the background about the needs of a young man in love. Runtown teams up with Darkovibes to release an extended version of his classic love song ‘Understanding Love’ about what he wants from his woman.
‘Andréia, there are many things I want to tell you, that won’t fit in this song’…..June Freedom dreamily sings and expresses how much he is into his love interest and what he wants to do with her. A smooth bop!
Alesh – Bunda ft Big Joe Loway (DRC)
Congolese superstar Alesh releases his new album titled ‘Mongongo’ and on it is this banger titled ‘Bunda’. The chorus is excitingly riddled with trumpet sounds that will have you listening to the song on repeat.
TNT Kenya – Deep in Da Streets (KE)
One of the hardest rap songs to come out of Kenya. The rap duo deliver braggadocious verses about their lavish lifestyle and street credibility.
Jay Bhad – U Can’t Show Me Nattin (GH)
Jay Bhad reminds us that he’s the king of Drill Music in Ghana with this one. The adlibs and his delivery would have you thinking you’re listening to another Pop Smoke track.
Wurld – Bossy Part II ft Ms Banks, Erica Banks, Amaarae, Dj Cuppy, Kida Kudz (NG)
If you loved the original version of this song, you would love this one even more. Straight fire! the extra verses add a new sauce to the song that you didn’t even realize was missing. A personal favorite is Erica Bank’s verse. Heavy tune!
A calm, sensual song about sweet, tender love. Perfect addition to your sex playlist, trust me.
Off rapper A-Q’s newly released project ‘Golden’ is this hip hop song infused with Afro sounds and melodious chants. Chike delivers a fire hook about wanting to live freely and without fear.
Q The Prod – Bora Ni Mthick ft Odane (KE)
A groovy dubstep inspired jam about a beautiful African woman’s body. Bora Ni Mthick is definitely a club banger.
Joe Kingston – La Mine II (CR)
Another hard drill music on our playlist for this week is ‘La Mine II’. You probably wouldn’t understand what he’s saying but his smooth delivery will keep you glued till the end of the song.
